Amsterdam Gaelic Athletic Club was founded on St. Patrick's Day 2003 and over the past decade, the club has grown into one of Europe's leading GAA clubs.

Amsterdam GAC consists of Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie teams. Both Mens and Ladies teams compete in European tournaments across the Benelux and central European region.

All of our teams have enjoyed great success in recent times. The Men's Footballers are the Benelux Regional champions and are also 3-in-a-row Premier European 15-a-side champions. As a result, Amsterdam have represented Europe in the Leinster Junior Football Championship for the past three years

We train every week in Amstelveen and Amsterdam and are always looking for new players to join. We are an international club and new players of any nationality and ability are welcome to join. Even if you've never played before, full beginners training is provided ... get fit playing a fun and exciting sport!

The club organises regular social nights in Amsterdam, and is a great place for newcomers to The Netherlands to make friends.
